Scuba Diving Guinjata Bay Inhambane Mozambique

The past weekend 16 – 18 August 2013, we exhibited at the Dive Expo at the Coca Cola dome in Johannesburg.

For us at Golden Palms Beach Resort and Lodge it was wonderful to be amongst all the passionate scuba divers all buzzing with excitement to share their experiences! Experienced scuba divers provided unending knowledge and information, and we discovered all the breathtaking Scuba Diving spots Africa has to offer! Once again, we realized that Golden Palms Beach Resort and Lodge situated at Guinjata Bay is definitely situated in the hub of the scuba diving excitement with direct access to local & deep dive sites! Guinjata Dive Centre venture out daily to a few of these reefs. The daily 6pm meeting at the Guinjata Dive Centre sets out the planning for the following day and the decisions are made in terms of which of the majestic reefs will be visited the following day! Decisions are made between the local dive sites featuring Paindane Xpress, Turtle Creek, Egypt, Hard Rock, Devils Peak, Caves, Pao, Batfish, Coral Gardens and Fishbowl or alternatively deeper sites are visit including options between Barnicle, KK Zee, Green Tree, Manta Canyon, X-Tacy, Pixies, Manta Pinnacles. The world renowned Manta Reef is always a favorite and guests are left in awe after experiencing a dive amongst the famous Manta Rays.

We suggest an early morning dive, returning to Golden Palms Beach Resort and Lodge for a lovely self-catered brunch followed by relaxation on the beach and dive planning the evening for the following day. Alternatively visit one of the local beach bars and restaurants for a brunch served to you after a majestic dive.
